What I take care of, all the way to release.
My first apps cost me dozens of back-and-forths with Apple and Google. At Apple, over 40% of unresolved issues relate to guideline 2.1: crashes, placeholder content, incomplete information. I turned that into a method that cuts rejections with every project.

Your questions about publishing.
Apple says it reviews at least half of submissions in less than 24 hours, and 90% in less than 48 hours. On Google Play, a personal account created after November 13, 2023 first runs a 14-day closed test with at least 12 testers.
Yes: I read the rejection reason, fix the app or the listing, and submit it again.
