What drives the price, screen by screen.
An app is the interface, but also the API, the database, the accounts and the release. The more it does, the more days it takes: the estimate starts from this list.

A written scope before signing: what is included and what is not, approval by batch, and the rate for out-of-scope requests, at the day rate.
They come on top of development: 99 USD a year for the Apple Developer account, 25 USD once for Google Play (sources: Apple and Google).
